The ANU Japan Institute is pleased to host its first Seminar Series, supported by the Australian Government through the Australia-Japan Foundation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Please join us for the first of 10 weekly seminars, 'Ruby and Diamond: The Multiculturalism of Japanese in Wartime Australia' by Professor Tessa Morris-Suzuki on Wednesday 10 March 2021.

In this virtual seminar, Professor Tessa Morris-Suzuki will explore the story of two wartime internees in Australia during the Asia-Pacific War and the multiculturalism of the Japanese community in mid-twentieth century Australia.
