Harvard US-Japan Program, 2026-27 call for applications

Dear Colleagues, 

 

I write to let you know of the visiting and fellowship opportunities at Harvard University's Program on U.S.-Japan Relations during the next 2026-27 academic year:

 

  1. Visiting Practitioner Associates and Scholars12/15/2025 deadline: We seek applications from highly motivated practitioners and scholars to conduct research in residence during the next U.S. academic year (September-May). The successful candidate should enjoy working independently and make the best possible use of their time at Harvard for their professional and personal growth.
  2. Postdoctoral fellowship12/22/2025 deadline The Program on U.S.-Japan Relations will offer two types of postdoctoral fellowships during the 2026-27 academic year, with support from the Edwin O. Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies and the Japan Foundation. Please see the link for details and ARIeS application portal.
