I'll be giving a talk via Zoom to the Japan Society of Chicago on Monday, March 13th at 6 pm Chicago time (Tuesday March 14th 8 am Japan Time). Mark Reisenauer, President of Astellas Pharma US will also on his company's innovation efforts. My talk with cover how today's technological regime fosters, and requires, more "open innovation" forms of collaboration among companies and look at how Japan measures up on this front. It will also discuss opportunities for collaboration between American and Japanese segments within civil society.
