Postdoctoral/Research Fellow in Asia Research Institute (Asian Infrastructures) at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
This is the final call for applications - the deadline is 30 September. The successful applicant is expected to commence duties at NUS in January 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment will initially be for two years, with a good prospect for renewal for another two. So, this would position suit someone looking for a 2-4-year Research Fellowship or Postdoc based in Singapore, but with support for fieldwork (if needed) and conference attendance elsewhere.
Asia signifies both the Asian continent and islands and their relations with the wider world. Infrastructures are conceptualized in a similarly broad sense, including (but not limited to), for example, knowledge networks, health infrastructures, migration infrastructures, port and other transport infrastructures, digital and financial infrastructure networks and nodes as well as China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
