June 24, 2022 (Friday)13:00 - 14:00 (CEST)

In recent years and also in migration studies, filming is being used as an important tool for research and to let the voice of people reach a larger audience. This event will discuss various whys and hows of the filming process and the challenges on this path. Important issues such as ethics and distribution of the work on various platforms will also be covered. This conversation will be helpful for anyone who intends to use ethnographic documentary techniques for research or other filming projects.
