[SSJ: 11782] Seminar on Japanese nationalisms March 24th

Dear colleagues,
The East Asian Studies Research Center of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (EASt) would like to invite you to its first seminar of the season: *"Japanese nationalisms from Within and Without"*. This first seminar will revolve around two presentations, followed by a discussion:
- "How to Be 'Japanese Enough': the Myth of Ethno-cultural Homogeneity and Citizenship Acquisition in Japan", Eline Delmarcelle, Waseda University
- "The Ainu of Japan: Indigenous People Between Survival Instinct and Reconquest", Sabrina Battipaglia, independent scholar.
The seminar will be *online* (Zoom) and will take place on *March 24th 2022, from 12 to 13:00 CET (20 to 21:00 JST)*.
