Topic: “Outlook for the Japanese Economy
- from the experience of reconstructing Japanese
firms”

Speaker: Mr. Kunihiko Yogo
Professor, Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business

We would like to invite you to the lecture by Mr. Yogo who has served as co-CEO of Hikari Tsushin, Managing Director of IRCJ (Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan) and Chairman and CEO of Kanebo Cosmetics. He has reconstructed the companies with his strong background of telecommunication knowledge and organizational reform strategies.
How can a company be reconstructed? We will hear his experience of reconstructing Japanese firms and his thoughts on the outlook for the Japanese economy under the current difficult situation.
Mr. Yogo is graduated from University of Tokyo in Mechanical Engineering and entered Science and Technology Agency at Prime Minister's Office in 1983. He worked for the Atomic Energy Bureau and the International Trade Policy Bureau of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
After obtaining MBA from the Amos Tuck school of Business at Dartmouth College in the US, he joined McKinsey and Company and has participated in policy making, organizational reform and business alliances projects for the IT and high-tech industries. In 2006, he became President and CEO of ARUZE Corporation. He has been teaching at Kenichi Ohmae Graudate School of Business since 2008.
