Two Positions in Contemporary Japanese Studies (Open
Rank: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor)

The Department of Japanese Studies, National University of Singapore invites applications for two (2) open-rank positions in contemporary Japanese studies. Candidates from all disciplines working on contemporary Japan are encouraged to apply (excluding Japanese language which is taught in a separate University unit). We are particularly interested in filling one of the positions with a candidate competent to teach/research in aspects of contemporary Japanese popular culture. Candidates should be willing to contribute to the Department's team-taught, interdisciplinary modules.

Fluency in English and Japanese is required. An attractive salary and benefits package will be determined according to experience/seniority.
