[SSJ: 6524] Seven Doctoral Stipends - DFG Research Training Group 1613 "Risk and East Asia"

The DFG Research Training Group (Graduierten Kolleg)
1613 Risk and East Asia at the Institute of East Asian Studies (IN-EAST), University Duisburg-Essen invites applications to its English-language doctoral program from candidates with advanced language skills in Chinese or Japanese, and a strong MA (or equivalent) degree in Economics, Political Science, Sociology, and Geography or in social scientific East Asian Regional Studies. Seven doctoral fellowships will be awarded in 2011 for an initial one-year period of support, with a renewal option for a total three-year stipend. Application deadline is March 15, 2011 for admission in October 2011.
