I have posted a joint paper by Joseph Halevi and myself, in my subdirectory on
the PKT authors. It is a Kaleckian/Keynesian analysis of the relationship
between Japanese surpluses and growth in Asia and America. We are very critical
of the view that Japanese trade surpluses are "good" thing for the world
economy, instead seeing in them a force for stagnation.
There are a number of ways of obtaining the paper. You can use gopher, or FTP to
get into the PKT authors list, then find Kriesler, and the paper there:
