[SSJ: 312] Post in Korea

From: Sook-Jong Lee
Posted Date: 1995/09/30

My name is Sook-Jong Lee, a fellow at the Sejong Institute, Seoul, Korea. The
Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University (Seoul, Korea) asked
me to introduce a Japanese professor who can teach two courses (6 hours per
week) on Japan from March to June of 1996. GSIS of Yonsei University invites a
Japanese professor to become "visiting professor," with financial support from
the Japan Foundation. The specialty is quite open: historian, political
scientist, economist, sociologist etc. Applications are to be made to GSIS of
Yonsei, which will decide who will be invited. The Japanese visiting professor
will receive 4 months of salary, round-trip air tickets, and housing subsidies.
One can inquire into the terms of this position in detail through the Japan
Foundation. If you can teach two courses in "English" next Spring, please write
to me. You can use your stay for extending your academic networks in Korea and
carrying out research if you are interested in Korean society. I am looking
forward to replies from Japanese colleagues. SJ Lee.
