Dear Members of the Institute of Social Science,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing from the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, a London-based charity which promotes closer links between the UK and Japan through events, grants and scholarships.

We will host an online social science webinar next month and thought it might be of interest to your members and colleagues:

  • Speaker:
    • Dr Peter Mauch lectures in Asian History at Western Sydney University in Australia. He is the author of Tojo: The Rise and Fall of Japan's Most Controversial World War II General and Sailor Diplomat: Nomura Kichisaburō and the Japanese-American War.

Please note that the booking system for this webinar will close at 1am (JST) / 5pm (BST) on Wednesday 15 April.
If you would like to sign up after this time, please contact our Events Team (events@dajf.org.uk).

These events are free and open to all.

If you think staff and other members of your network may be interested in this event, I would be very grateful if you could share this information with them.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Benjamin
