New Doctoral Fellowship Programme - Tohoku University (JF-CIJS-EAJS)

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to draw your attention to a new doctoral fellowship programme launched by the Center for Integrated Japanese Studies (CIJS) at Tohoku University, in collaboration with the Japan Foundation and with the support of the European Association of Japanese Studies (EAJS).
The fellowship offers doctoral candidates the opportunity to conduct research and fieldwork essential to their dissertation for a period of 4 to 12 months, with Tohoku University serving as their academic base.
The programme is open to PhD students enrolled at graduate schools across Europe who are pursuing Japan-related research in the humanities or social sciences.
