Jennifer Huynh (Department of American Studies, University of Notre Dame) will give a talk titled "Unsettling Refugees: Vietnamese Refugees Fighting Gentrification in America's Suburbs" on Saturday, June 21st, in Komaba I Campus, the University of Tokyo. The lecture is a part of the CPAS Globalizing American Studies Seminar, hosted by the Center for the Pacific and American Studies, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo. 
Professor Huynh is the author of Suburban Refugees: Class and Resistance in Little Saigon (University of California Press, 2025.)
