Dear all,

I hope you're well and having a pleasant week.

A little self-promotion: I'd like to warmly invite you to the screening of my latest film, Home in the Making, part of the project "Qualification and Skill in the Migration Process of Foreign Workers in Asia (QuaMaFA)", funded by Germany's Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF, 2021-2024).

This collaborative documentary brings together the research and visual work of five women scholars and seven Asian migrants in South Korea, Singapore, and Japan. It explores personal and professional migration journeys, the tensions between staying and leaving, and the ongoing search for a place to call home. Through these stories, the film reflects on belonging, identity, and resilience in contemporary Asia.

If you happen to be in Tokyo and if this is of your interest then please join us -

Date: Friday, May 17
Time: 16:00-17:30
