From: Nobuko Nagai <nobuko.nagai@monash.edu>
Date: 2025/04/16
Dear SSJ-Forum members,
Please see below for a call for abstracts for a JEMS Special Issue proposal on Migrant women's experiences of sexual and gender-based violence in the Asia-Pacific. If successful, this Special Issue will explore the complex factors that shape and (re)produce both interpersonal and structural forms of SGBV against migrants, contributing to broader discussions on gender, violence and migration. For more details, please see attached file.
**We are currently collecting potential abstracts to include in our Special Issue proposal for the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies. Please note that these will only be published if the proposal is successful.
Please submit your abstracts (max 250 words) along with your biography (100 words) by 15 May 2025 to either Dr Hyein Ellen Cho (ellen.cho@monash.edu) or Dr Nobuko Nagai (nobuko.nagai@monash.edu). Any questions please feel free to contact us.
