Dear colleagues,
The Modern Japan History Association (mjha.org) is extremely pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the 2026 MJHA Book Prize, the 2026 F. Hilary Conroy First Book Prize, and the 2026 Charlotte J. Conroy Dissertation Prize!
Please help us get the word out and make sure worthy books and dissertations are nominated! MJHA members can nominate books and dissertations directly at mjha.org, and publishers can also nominate books themselves. Authors and dissertators do not necessarily have to be MJHA members to receive full consideration. If a dissertation author is not a member, you can feel free to nominate a dissertation on their behalf.
