(Jan.31) Public Seminar and youth roundtable ft. NATO ASG for Public Diplomacy, Marie-Doha Besancenot

Here are two event announcements for January 31.
(1) Public seminar with the NATO ASG
Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST), The University of Tokyo, European Values Center for Security Policy (EVC), and NATO HQ are proud to welcome Marie-Doha Besancenot, the NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, for a keynote speech titled "The Challenges and Opportunities of Today's Communication Environment." She will discuss NATO perspectives on countering disinformation and engaging in strategic communications amidst the increasingly complicated communication environment.
The keynote speech will be followed by a panel discussion among experts on NATO, with Marie-Doha Besancenot further elaborating on the NATO perspective, Jakub Janda (Director, European Values Center for Security Policy, Czechia) discussing the significance of the newly established NATO-Japan Expert Hub, Fredrik Steen (Minister Counselor, Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo) addressing the NATO outreach activities during the Osaka Expo, and Akira Igata (Project Lecturer, RCAST, University of Tokyo) providing their relevance to Japan.
