I hope you are all well and having a pleasant week. If you happen to be staying in Berlin or visiting Berlin, then this workshop might be of your interest -
QuaMaFA & Free University of Berlin Workshop will take place from 13th-17th December 2024, offering a platform to explore visual research methods, migration, and policy trends in Japan and East Asia.
We invite scholars, students, and practitioners to engage in critical discussions on migration, visual research methods, and evolving policy challenges in Asia. Organized as part of the BMBF-funded project Qualification and Skill in the Migration Process of Foreign Workers in Asia with focus on Japan, this event is hosted by the Institute of East Asian Studies, Japanese Studies, Free University of Berlin, with support from Goethe University Frankfurt.
