Hello Everyone,

We are delighted to announce the publication of Heritage, Contested Sites and Borders of Memory in the Asia Pacific. Featuring 12 contributions examining the borders of memory running through heritage sites and practices in Japan, Asia, and the Pacific, all tied together by Philip Seaton in his conclusion, this interdisciplinary volume combines conceptual innovation with a series of focused investigations into memory, commemoration, contestation, and connection. For more details, please read the Open Access Introduction to the volume: https://brill.com/display/book/9789004512986/BP000011.xml

For those intrigued, please join us for our Launch Event, taking place this Friday, December 8. We will hear from many of the contributors about their work, and hope to foster a discussion regarding where to take this research next. The event will be held online from 1430-1730 (JST), please register in advance at:
