Book Introduction:  
The nature of Japan-China relations has shifted from "friendship" to "coexistence" during these five decades since the normalization of diplomatic relations in 1972. This newly published book collects a variety of papers analyzing two decades of changing Japan-China relations since 2001 from different angles including politics, diplomacy, economy and society.  - University of Tokyo Press
