An international research group organized by scholars and activists in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, WONDER (Research Network on Women and Diversity in East Asian Representation), has conducted elite surveys in the past years to explore commonalities
and differences of elites' perceptions on barriers into politics, policy preferences, and gender quotas among three Asian democracies. The International Symposium presents the major findings of the research and proposes further research agendas.
