In this multidisciplinary talk, we will discuss developments in the regulatory and financial space in connection to crypto assets and the adoption of blockchain technology in Japan and the global context. TUJ faculty will walk us through key considerations and trends to navigate the fintech and regulatory landscape.

Presenters: Manfred Otto heads the legal and compliance team and serves as data privacy protection officer as well as information protection delegate for BMW Group's national wholesale and retail entities in Japan. He earned his LL.M. degree from Temple University School of Law and teaches Contracts at Temple Law Japan.

May May HO, Fellow Chartered Accountant, Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). She is a UK and Singapore Chartered Accountant and holds an MSc in International Business from the University of Lancaster, UK. Currently, she is teaching a course on Financial Management in the TUJ Master in Management Program.

Maurizio Raffone is the Chief Financial Officer at Credify Pte. Ltd., an emerging FinTech startup focused on embedded finance in Asia. He is a financial engineer with over 20 years in capital markets and international finance, structuring, trading, originating and selling structured finance transactions. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and teaches in TUJ Continuing Education Program.
