I would like to draw your attention to a workshop entitled "Populism in Regional Japan", which will be held *online* at the Department of East Asian Studies/Japanese Studies, University of Vienna on *December 17-18, 2021*.

The workshop brings together experts on populism, (local) politics, and regional Japan to investgate the missing link between regional inequality, peripheralization, and populism in Japan.
