The University of Duisburg-Essen invites applications for

two postdoctoral positions (F/M/X) (pay grade E13 TV-L)

at the Mercator School of Management (MSM) and the Institute of East Asian Studies (IN-EAST), both located at the Duisburg campus.

Main tasks:

The successful candidates should carry out independent research in the field of East Asian Business or Economic Studies (preferably with a focus on Japan or Korea) or in transnational studies with a focus on the East Asian region. It is expected that they teach up to 4 hours/week in the East Asian Studies programmes at BA and MA level and fulfil some administrative tasks. The job responsibilities allow opportunities for the further development of academic qualifications and skills
