From: Edward Boyle <tedkboyle@gmail.com>
Date: 2020/08/26

There's still a few days left to submit an abstract for our forthcoming conference on "Contesting Memorial Spaces in the Asia-Pacific", to be held 6-7 November.

Featuring the likes of Alexander Bukh (Victoria University of Wellington), Shu-Mei Huang (National Taiwan University), Liza Wing Man Kam (University of Göttingen), Lila Ramos-Shahani (ex-UNESCO Philippines secretary-general), Paul Richardson (University of Birmingham), Edward Vickers (Kyushu University), Tim Winter (University of Western Australia) and Yujie Zhu (Australian National University), the event will bring cutting-edge work on territorial disputes and the politics of heritage together in new and exciting ways!

Abstracts are due by August 31. For further details on the conference theme, how to apply, and even travel grants (touch wood!), go to

We hope to see you all in November!
