Dear students, junior scholars, and researchers,

We are pleased to invite you to the World Congress 2020, taking place in Vienna, Austria, April 21-24, 2020, under the guiding theme "Democracy, Identity and Power", organised by the International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) in cooperation with the Central European University (CEU).

IAPSS is an international organisation led by both students and young-professionals passionate about politics, economics, and international relations and willing to continue their education outside of university. Through our publications, regional meetups for members, and annual World Congress, we want to provide a forum for members to engage in meaningful political dialogue with ambitious scholars and to publish their ideas through our vast digital infrastructure.

One of the challenges facing many post-graduates is the ability to stay politically engaged. While university can offer students a sphere for political debate and exploration, this sort of community and access to opportunities may be difficult to find outside of academia. Learning and community-growth can continue outside of formal academic institutions, and IAPSS provides the opportunity to do so.

The IAPSS 2020 World Congress, our flagship event, brings together IAPSS members with political figures, policymakers, diplomats, scholars, and change-makers to address major problems facing the world; delve into major topics through discussion and debate; and network with high-level stakeholders. If you are interested in presenting your paper, you are kindly requested to submit your abstract by 17 February 2020.

Many of our members publish their work in our journal, and our Congress offers a space for authors to share and promote their published work.
