[SSJ: 11049] Literature recommendations on Japanese working environments

From: Paul Midford <paul.midford@ntnu.no>

Dear SSJ Forum Members,

I am establishing an internship program for students from my university in Japan, and I would like to ask for any literature recommendations you can make in the following areas:
1. Academic articles that are accessible for advanced undergraduates on Japanese workplace culture and sociology.
2. Books and guides offering practical knowledge about how to survive and thrive working in a Japanese company, including inter-cultural communication, how to understand and relate to hierarchies, customs, etc.

Many thanks in advance for your recommendations!

Best Regards,

Paul
