RCAST, the Universy of tokyo, is pleased to announce a joint symposium on Oct. 7 on the topic of the impending crisis surrounding Iran.


Our main speakers are Prof. Meir Litvak of Tel Aviv University, an authoritative expert on Iranian politics, and Prof. Toshihiro Nakayama of Keio University, a leading scholar on US politics who has recently come back from his stint at Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars followed by discussions chaired by Prof. Satoshi Ikeuchi of RCAST, the University of Tokyo.



The symposium will be held by RCAST, the University of Tokyo in cooperation with Moshe Dayan Center for Middle East and African Studies, Tel Aviv University.


This event is part I of a wider joint cooperation event "Israel×Japan Symposium at UTokyo Komaba Research Campus 2019" which will be organized jointly with Institute of Industrial Science of the University of Tokyo and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem.


Our "International Security" Part will be followed by Part II panels held by IIS, UTokyo and Bezalel School of Arts and Design of Jerusalem.


RCAST-IIS joint reception will be held from 17:40-19:00. Feel free to join (free of charge).
