The Faculty of International Studies, Meiji Gakuin University, proudly presents a public lecture by professor IAN NEARY, head of the Nissan Institute of Japanese Studies at Oxford University:

"Discrimination after Dowa: Burakumin in the twenty first century"

Meiji Gakuin University, Yokohama Campus (Totsuka) Thursday, May 16, Room 825, 10.55 a.m. to 12.25 p.m.

The campus is a 10 minute bus-ride from the east exit of JR Totsuka station. Go to the bus-stop in front of the police box, and get the bus for "Meiji Gakuin Daigaku Minami-mon" (Meiji Gakuin University South Gate). Stay on until the terminus. Room 825 is in the
#8 building, which is immediately on your left as you enter the south gate.
