Job opening: Full-time faculty position in “Politics and International Relations in Asia”

The International Christian University (ICU), College of Liberal Arts, Department of Politics and International Relations is pleased to announce an open search for a full-time faculty position in “Politics and International Relations in Asia”. Preference might be given to East- and Southeast Asia.

The successful applicant should be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses. Courses to be taught may include: Political Science, Introduction to International Relations, Politics in Southeast Asia, and Asian International Relations.

Position: Associate Professor or above
Term of employment: Full-time, tenured or tenure track

Qualifications:
1. Ph.D. or equivalent in political science, international relations, or a related field is required.
2. Language of instruction: English only, or both English and Japanese 3. Commitment to the University’s Christian mission

Starting date: September 1, 2013 or April 1, 2014
