[SSJ: 7268] UNU-ISP internships
From: Hobson, Christopher
Date: 2012/03/09
Dear Colleagues,
*Apologies for cross posting*
The Peace and Security section of the United Nations University Institute for Sustainability and Peace
(UNU-ISP) in Tokyo is now accepting applications for internships over Spring and Summer 2012. The current round of applications will be reviewed in April, and we ask that applications are submitted by the end of March 2012. Applicants are normally expected to have completed a degree, but we also consider excellent later year undergraduate students.
If possible, can you please pass this information onto your students or anyone else that might be interested?
This is a valuable opportunity for students and young professionals to get valuable experience working at an international institution.
The purpose of the UNU-ISP internship programme is:
1. To promote interaction and dialogue between young scholars and staff members of UNU-ISP 2. To familiarize young scholars with the research work and project activities of UNU-ISP 3. To provide support to activities within UNU-ISP
The internships are well suited to versatile and enthusiastic individuals that are interested in contributing to the UNU-ISP in a wide variety of ways.
Interns provide valuable logistical, organizational and research support. It offers a unique opportunity to be engaged with, and contribute to, the cutting edge research (and capacity development) projects being undertaken at UNU-ISP.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Best,
Christopher Hobson
