Title: Transdisciplinarity Discussions on the Future of Global Environmental Change and Sustainability Research
Speakers: Prof. Patrick Monfray (ANR)
Prof. Heidi Hackmann (ISSC)
Abstract: Our guests speakers, Prof. Patrick Monfray and Prof. Heidi Hackmann, official members of the Belmont Forum, will mainly talk about the future of environmental change and sustainability research as well as multiple dimensions of transdisciplinarity by emphasizing RIHN`s focus on humanity-nature connection.
Role and position of social sciences within global environmental change research and challenge of practicing transdisciplinary research will also be other topics to be discussed. Ageneral discussion will follow on the question of how integrated science and society connection on global environmental change issuesmight be experienced in practice.
