Topic: “Entrepreneurship and Sustainability
- What you imagine will come true in ten years"
Speaker: Ms. Reina Otsuka, President
Ecotwaza Co., Ltd.
Ms. Reina Otsuka is founder of Ecotwaza Co., Ltd. After graduating from Hitotsubashi University, she started her career with Recruit Co. Ltd.
In 2006, she founded Ecotwaza to share ecological deeds and products from Japan to other parts of the world through www.ecotwaza.com Her first encounter with environmental issues was at the age of 10, when she caught asthma and became aware of air pollution.
With a cultural
background of both the U.S. and Japan, and after traveling around 30 countries, she seeks to share the green wisdom Japan has to offer.

In the presentation, we will hear her experience of starting up a company in Japan; its difficulties and challenges in comparison with doing the same in other countries. We will also hear greentips to live ecological life in Tokyo and the future plans of business development of Ecotwaza.

Ms. Otsuka is the winner of the U.S. Ambassador’s Entrepreneurship Award 2010. Born in Tokyo in 1980.
