Probably as a result of my full beard, kids were calling me ojiisan when I was in my twenties. Now, I have definitely entered oyaji territory.

Sorry Ellis, as much as I hate to admit it, men in their 40s are already very much in ojisan land! Even men in their late 30s are often characterized as ojisan.
