I think there is nothing to heal with a man in the DPJ like Ozawa. He will not destroy the DPJ like his former parties because he knows this his last chance to get the real leader of a government as Premier or shadow shogun. But from his personality he must dominate the DPJ. Prof. Nishikawa from Meiji University called his behavior at the Foreign Correspondent Club of Japan last Friday a kind of illness. So after some months the confrontation between the Ozawa/Hatoyama camp and the majority of the party will be back.
There are many areas of substantiell differences between Noda and Ozwawa: The 2009 DPJ Manifesto which Noda wants to review but not Ozwaw. Tax and the complex of financing the reconstruction, Japan-US-relations (Futenma)and Japan-China relations.
If the DPJ wants to be a modern party there is no place for a man like Ozawa. His way to lead his faction with money and obedience can not be the way to run a modern party.
So the best is the court calls him guilty for his money deals. And then perhaps, the Ozawa kids will differenciate them self from Ozawa.
