The Faculty of Liberal Arts of Sophia University invites applications for a non-tenured, part-time

The spring semester will begin in early April and end in late July. The successful candidate will teach a diverse group of undergraduate students in English.
Two 90-minutes classes have be given on the subject, either on Mondays and Thursdays, or on Tuesdays and Fridays (negotiable). Applicants would ideally have a Ph.D. in related fields. Advanced Ph.D. candidates will be considered.
The Faculty of Liberal Arts is a leading institution of international liberal arts in Japan that offers all courses in English. It has been awarded a four-year GP ("Good Practice") grant by the Ministry of Education

Originally established as the Faculty of Comparative Culture in 1987, it was reorganized as the Faculty of Liberal Arts, at the same time as it moved to the main Yotsuya campus in April 2006.
