From: Tracy Timmons-Gray
Date: 2010/11/24

NBR now has videos up from last month's Robert Scalapino Symposium, a one-day conference sponsored by NBR, the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and The Asia Foundation and hosted by the University of California-Berkeley's Institute of East Asian Studies.

The Robert Scalapino Symposium brought together leading scholars and specialists from the West Coast and beyond to discuss critical Asia policy issues and to honor the exceptional career of Professor Robert Scalapino. Panels addressed U.S.-Asia relations, globalization and regionalism in Asia, emerging political elites, and natural resource trends.

The Symposium also featured a keynote address by Scalapino Prize winner David M. Lampton and a special address by Professor Robert Scalapino.
