[SSJ: 334] Japan, WW2 & UK media

[In response to Alan Harrison]
Dear Alan,
What the Japanese have to say about foreigners is much more brutal. What I
cannot fathom is the fact that westerners become so guilt ridden when signs of
racism against Japanese crop up in their own country. Have they ever thought
about doing a comprehensive study on how Japanese perceive non-Japanese? After
three years there, two at the Univ. of Tokyo, I feel that if westerners,
Americans or Brits, for example, knew how the Japanese really felt about other
races outright hatred, and perhaps somewhat unbridled violence, against
Japanese, in those countries, would likely increase. I hate to see such a
one-sided analysis of racism- and get sick to the stomach when the Japanese
participate in such debates----outside of Japan.
