[SSJ: 316] Undergraduate Reading Materials
From: Iwato Hashimori
Posted Date: 1995/10/03
It seems like ages since I've posted. Things have just gotten very busy all of a
sudden.
I am looking for the titles of books written on the economics and political
economy of Japan. If possible they should be comparative in nature (Japan/US,
Japan/Europe, Japan/France, Japan/US/Europe, etc.) , but this is not absolutely
necessary.
These texts will be used by Japanese undergraduate students whose assignment it
will be to summarize and translate what they have read into Japanese. These
texts should be fairly easy to read, highlight important controversial issues,
and be within the comprehension of Japanese undergraduate economics students
whose background in the marginalist school of economic theory is at best weak.
Upon translation and summary students will be expected to discuss the their
reading assignments in Japanese.
Please include authors , publishers, and ISBN numbers wherever possible.
Thanks.
