I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at De La Salle University in
Manila. My colleagues and I are proposing the establishment of a peace institute
in our university. May I inquire about peace institutes that have been set up
already in Japan? What is the nature of these institutes? Are they for research,
training, advocacy or a combination of these? What can you advise organizers of
a fledgling peace institute to look out for? Where can I find a comprehensive
list of addresses of peace institutes or peace-related organizations there?
