[SSJ: 193] Talk on US-Japan Security Alliance (Aug 16)

From: Edith Terry
Posted Date: 1995/08/16

Brad Glosserman has arranged a session with Dr. Young-Sun Song, Director of the Japan Study Section, Korea Institute for Defense Analysis. She will be giving her perspective of the US-Japan security alliance, "On its last legs - a view from Seoul."

As usual, we'll be collecting Yen 2,500 to pay for pizzas, nomimono, and maybe some icecubes to melt on our foreheads. The hovel, er teahouse, does have airconditioning.

More details follow:

Global benkyokai: Wed., August 16, from 7:00 p.m. Address: 4-41-12 Kamimeguro,
Meguro-ku, Tokyo 153 Tel/fax 5722-3534

Closest station is Yutenji on the Toyoko or Hibiya line. The walk from the station takes about 10 minutes. Exit left side of station, turn right on alley, left on two-way street to signal at T-intersection, then right to intersection at bottom of slope, cross intersection and turn left; house is second from corner after the "New Plant sha" on the corner. Please don't steal anything (I'm sorry, it's my August sense of humor!).
