There is some limited information on Japanese FDI in the United States in various issues of the Foreign Direct Investment in the United States published by the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Economics and Statistics Administration,
U.S. Department of Commerce. For example, 1992 Benchmark Survey published in August 1994, Table D-3 includes data on FDI from Japan (col. 14) and other countries in real estate and "hotel and other lodging places."
