I am currently writing an essay on the debate about the 2nd world war (war responsibility, war victims, reparations, compensation, etc) since PM Hosokawa took office in July 1993. One of the issues is the so called "war resolution"
which passed the lower house two weeks ago. Although I have a lot of material on this debate as far as the political elite in Japan is concerned, I have not been able to find a public opinion poll on this issue (war resolution and war responsibility). If anyone on this list happens to have such data, which might have been published in one of the dailies, I would be happy to get a hint where to find it.
