The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership is pleased to invite you to a symposium ”American Political Thought in Trump Era” at Aoyama Gakuin University on September 15th(Fri).

The symposium will touch upon not only political thoughtt in U.S. but also its implications to U.S. foreign policy toward Asia, so I hope it serves your interests.

“The 2016 U.S. Presidential Election revealed divisions in various aspects of American society. What are the reactions in the political and journalistic arena in the U.S.? What kind of potential impact will these changes have on the path of U.S. foreign policy?

Prof. Walter Russell Mead, an established researcher who proposed the four traditional types of U.S. foreign policy in his book, and Mr. Julius Krein, the founding editor of the brand new conservative quarterly journal on public policy and political thought, will discuss American political trend in Trump era with Japanese experts”
