From: Richard Katz
Date: 2013/02/01

I'm passing on a message I received.

I'm writing to let you know about a new award in the Japan - U.S. Innovation Awards Program , which is produced by the Japan Society of Northern California in cooperation with Stanford's US-Asia Technology Management Center. This new award is aimed at professional or part-time journalists and other researchers / writers.
The goal is an independent piece of journalism (in
English) that presents a previously unpublished account of entrepreneurial innovation within a company
("intrapreneurship") that is relevant to U.S. -Japan business

One winning author will receive a $3,000 cash prize, and up to two Award Alternates will each receive $1,000. We are planning an Innovation symposium in July 2013 at Stanford University to highlight the authors at the event.

The first step is to send in a "pitch" proposal to the Subcommittee for this Untold Story award, namely:

Richard Dasher rdasher@stanford.edu
Dana Lewis danalewis@mac.com
Andrew Neuman aneuman@usajapan.org
with cc to John Thomas JOHNRTHOMAS@me.com and yuri tada yurita1@gmail.com

Deadline for the first pitch is February 19, 2013. For
details on what to include in the pitch and for other
details about the final write-ups, please contact Dr.
Dasher directly or Yuriko Tada at
ytada@piedmontpartnersgroup.com.
