I gladly announce that selected papers of the Hamburg Symposium “International Migration of Highly Skilled Workers to Japan and Germany. Current Models and Future Outlooks” of December 2011 have just been published as a special issue of "ASIEN, The German Journal on Contemporary Asia" (no. 124; July 2012). Authors include Glenda S. Roberts, Dietrich Thränhardt, David Chiavacci, Reiko Ogawa, Gracia Liu-Farrer, Stephen Robert Nagy, Phoebe Holdgrün, Ruth Achenbach and Gabriele Vogt.
