Dear Friends, a happy new year to you all. As the first ICAS event of this year, we are pleased to invite you to a talk and discussion with Peter Tasker on the Eurozone crisis. Peter Tasker is recognized as one of the foremost authorities on Japanese finance, economics and culture.
Ranked as the No. 1 equity strategist by Japanese institutional investors for five years running, he was Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein's market strategist in Tokyo from 1983 to 1998.

He first came to Japan in 1977. He has written a number of critically acclaimed books on the Japanese economy is now a founding partner of Arcus Investments, a hedge fund that specializes in value investment in Japanese securities.

He has also written a series of noir novels featuring the cash-strapped, engagingly jaundiced Inspector Mori, his fictional private eye and anti-hero.

Mr. Tasker won an open scholarship to Balliol College (Oxford University) where he read English Literature and subsequently Law.
